Amy Walstien is the Executive Director of the Minnesota Precision Manufacturing Association, a statewide organization representing over 330 members dedicated to driving success for the manufacturing industry.
Amy has spent over 17 years at the intersection of law and politics as an attorney, government relations professional, policy advisor, and legislative staffer. Previously, Amy served as the Director of Education & Workforce Development Policy and Elections for the Minnesota Chamber of Chamber. Amy has also worked for the Minnesota Department of Education, the Minnesota Department of Labor, and the Minnesota State Senate.
Residing in Plymouth with her husband, Michael, and their two young children, Amy is active with Beth El Synagogue and with the Wayzata Public School District, serving on their Legislative Advisory Committee. Amy also serves on the board of the Jewish Community Relations Council (JCRC) and the Minnesota Excellence in Public Service Series (MEPS).
Amy received a Bachelor of Arts in political science from College of St. Benedict magna cum laude (2000), and is a graduate of William Mitchell College of Law (2004).
